Dr Greg Winslett
Deputy Director (Digital Learning) Institute for Teaching and Learning Innovation at the University of Queensland
After completing a Bachelor of Arts at UQ, Greg left Australia and worked in several education and technology roles in Osaka, Japan. He returned to Australia five years later with a renewed interest in higher education and commenced work at QUT. During his 14 years there, Greg held several professional and academic roles (including a year living and working at a distance in Barcelona) and completed a PhD that focused on higher education teaching and learning innovation.
More recently, he worked at the University of New England as Director, Learning Futures, and later as Director, Teaching and Learning.
Greg is currently completing an Executive MBA. Greg is a long-standing fan of teaching in higher education, learning design and educational technology.

An exciting new initiative for 2023, the Bett Asia School Challenge is a Southeast Asia-wide competition for students aged 7-17, created to promote big-thinking and innovative ideas on a large scale, to help provide solutions for schools and education issues using the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
